I gotta say, the value for my money at Lucky was incredible! The room was spacious and squeaky clean, and the location was unbeatable - just a 3-minute walk to the cathedral and surrounded by plenty of food stores. And let me tell you, the owner was a gem! Super friendly and supportive, she even packed me a breakfast to go without me asking. Such amazing service!

The location of the hostel was great, situated in a quiet alley near St Joseph Church, with plenty of cheap local eats nearby. The breakfast provided was satisfying, with freshly baked baguettes, fruit, cucumber, and tomatoes. the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, allowing me to leave my bag there after check-out and even providing me with the opportunity to make instant noodles using their resources.
The showers could get quite busy in the evenings, as there was only one shower/bathroom shared by six people. The hostel lacked a communal area where guests could relax and socialize, which made it difficult to meet new people or simply unwind after a long day of exploring.

My stay at Lucky Hostel in Hanoi was a pleasant one. The location was ideal, with the hostel situated in a quiet alley near St. Joseph Church. I enjoyed exploring the surrounding area, which was filled with cheap local eats and restaurants. The hostel provided a delicious breakfast with freshly baked baguettes, fruits, cucumber, and tomatoes. In addition, the bed in my room was comfortable and spacious. I had a great experience at Lucky Hostel.
It's worth noting that the hostel does not have a communal area where guests can relax and socialize. Additionally, the lack of an elevator can be challenging for guests with large luggage.
